Peer-Review PRO (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a product of Symbiotic Scholar. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your academic work with the utmost confidentiality. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered manuscript review service at peerreviewpro.com.
By using Peer-Review PRO, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
When you submit a manuscript for review, we process the text content of that document through our AI review system using the PRISM© framework. Manuscripts are used solely to generate your review and are not shared with third parties or used to train AI models.
We collect information about how you interact with the service, including review history, credit usage, and feature engagement. This helps us improve the platform.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We receive only a transaction reference and your Stripe customer ID.
We do not sell your personal information or manuscript content to any third party.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. Document text is processed in memory and the review output is stored in your account. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for all data in transit.
While we implement strong security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Peer-Review PRO:
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data. Manuscript content shared with Anthropic for AI processing is subject to Anthropic’s data usage policies, which prohibit using API inputs to train their models.
We retain your account information and review history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and review history within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
To request deletion of your data, contact us at support@peerreviewpro.com.
